area to see and do”

“I LOVE the beautiful Ozark countryside; the hills, trees, and the clean lakes”

Some are referring to this area as the “new Aspen of the Midwest”.  We believe its better!  Here we have four beautiful seasons.  Our spring, with all of the Dogwood trees is breathtaking.  The summers are mild to moderately hot and everything stays green.  Fall is what many say is our prettiest time of the year.  The colors are picturesque; storybook looking.  Winters are mild; the average winter temperature is around 48 degrees.  Many days you can wear short sleeves with the average temperature year round in the 70’s.  It is rare to have more than a week below freezing.  The best time in Branson is Christmas.  Wow…it looks like a Norman Rockwell painting.

We have the highest percentage of veterans living in Branson, MO; more than anywhere else in the world.  “This makes for a great neighborhood watch program!”  Crime is next to nothing in the area. Our hospital, Skaggs just ranked in the top 100 in the U.S.  St. John’s is adding a branch in Branson and already is located in Springfield, MO just 30 minutes away.  They are ranked 10th in America.  Locally we have five heart surgeons, a cancer facility, and many other state of the art medical facilities.  We will soon have announced the new Branson airport.  It will be an international airport.  “I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true”.  The airport should be complete by the end of 2008.  Many people love the idea of having over 100 live entertainment shows to see everyday, the new titanic museum, silver dollar city theme park-- “simply incredible”, white water theme park, Just to mention a few of the many things to do here in Branson.  The new Branson Landing is so incredible; many will drive to Branson this year to see it alone!!!  The Landing will have over 100 name brand stores and restaurants.

Very soon the interstate from I-40 in Little Rock to I-44 in Springfield will be four lanes.  These are only a few of the great reasons Branson is rapidly growing.
